SPRED REFLECTION WEEKEND
SPRED Reflection Weekends are an annual opportunity for catechists to gather from parishes far and wide. Each of us reflects on a life experience based on a theme chosen for the year. Using the elements of a SPRED session, each of us weaves our story into the model, while deepening our understanding of the SPRED process.
The Reflection Weekend is also a time to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature in winter, the peace-filled setting of St. Benedict Abbey and time to share wonderful hospitality provided by the Benedictine Community. It is a time to participate in beautiful prayer sessions, Mass on Saturday Evening and most of all, time to join in the fellowship with those from other SPRED communities.
The next weekend will be
January 5th, 6th and 7th, 2018
at St. Benedict Abbey Retreat Center on the beautiful grounds of Benet Lake, WI. It is not too early to begin thinking about setting this time aside for yourself.

Our Reflection Weekend 2016 has come and gone. We came away by ourselves to the quiet beauty of St. Benedict Abbey to rest awhile. The weather was kind, the spirit - strong, the food - plentiful and game night was the best attended. Many of us expressed that the time ich you took up the task of writing a session, for your energy and good will, your sharing and help in making the weekend a success. We hope you left enlightened and uplifted, as we did, with inspiration and energy to carry you through the SPRED year ahead and beyond.
We look forward to many future experiences with you.
